The Publishers’ Night, one of the biggest media events in Germany, famous among advertisers, publishers, politicians and media friends, took place on November 7 last week. The event was and is always organized by the “Verband Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger (VDZ)” (EN: Association of German Magazine Publishers).
This year, SAP won the price “Goldene Victoria 2016 – Company of the Year” which was accepted with pleasure by Michael Kleinemeier in the name of CEO Bill McDermott at the Publishers’ Night. VDZ CEO Stephan Scherzer justified the decision of the jury as follows: “SAP is an international company with German roots, playing an important role in the digital transformation. The company excellently shows how focused customer orientation and modern corporate development serve as basis for sustainable success”(see original German source)

SAP XM is as young intrapreneurship the result of such a culture lived and felt by employees.
